Tuition fee

Fees apply as follows:

  • Application fee (non-refundable): €120, payable when you make your application.
  • Tuition fee: 560 000 HUF (or equivalent in EUR) per semester for EEA applicants, 2400 EUR per semester for non-EEA applicants.

Entry requirements

For the Bachelor of Arts studies we invite international applicants who:

  • have completed their secondary school studies proved by a (senior) High School Diploma
  • have good command of the English language
  • submit the required documents

If you are an International or EU student, where English is not your first language, you will need an English language qualification, certified by one of the following:

  • valid TOEFL Score of minimum 66 points (iBT), 500 points (PBT)
  • valid IELTS of a minimum overall band of 5.5
  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English
  • PTE Academic 59

Other options:

  • other international advanced level exam certificate in English

Admissions are decided by the Admission Board - a committee made up of representatives of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty. Students will receive written notification of the admission decision no later than 30th June.

The Admission Board will evaluate the application materials (secondary school leaving certificate with grade, language certificate (min. TOEFL 66, IELTS 5.5), letter of motivation, etc.) and based on a shortlist, the applicants will be contacted to participate on the entrance exam (oral and/or written) online.


Entrance exam:

Oral exam: A telephone or Skype interview

The purpose of the interview is to measure applicants’ verbal competences, as well as to learn about their motivation for joining a program. Interviews are evaluated, among others, on the basis of how successful applicants are in communicating their ideas, what career plans they have in mind or how they think they can benefit from the Bachelor’s program in order to meet their future goals.

Application procedure

To complete the application you need to take the following steps:

For application the following documents have to be submitted:

  • Completed and signed Application Form
  • Official notarized copy of secondary school certificate with the final results. If it is not issued in English, an official notarized translation into English (or Hungarian) is needed.
  • Copy of the certificate of language exams and the results/scores (English language requirements are given in the Entry requirements) that prove your English proficiency
  • Four passport-size photographs
  • A brief CV in English
  • A letter of application in English including your motivation for applying for this programme
  • Copy of the photo page of the applicant's passport
  • The university charges applicants a €120 (non-refundable) Application Fee; the applicant needs to send the payment justification of this fee along with the rest of the application package (see bank account details below).
  • For the documents not in English (or Hungarian) an official, notarized English (or Hungarian) translation must be attached.

If you are accepted to the program, the official Letter of Acceptance will be issued only after you have submitted the apostilled (or diplomatically legalized) version of your secondary school diploma to your coordinator. For this reason, we suggest that you make arrangements for the apostille/diplomatic legalization as soon as you have been awarded the secondary school diploma as it may take time to get the apostille/diplomatic legalization.

If the country where your secondary school diploma originated is not a member of the Apostille Convention, your diploma must be diplomatically legalized by the foreign ministry of the country in which the document originated, and then by the Hungarian Consulate of your home country.

To join this course in 2020 September you need to apply to us by 15th May.
