International Impact Label for Corvinus by EFMD

Corvinus Business School has been awarded with a newly launched BSIS Label by the major international accreditation organization, EFMD.

BSIS stands for Business School Impact System, a tool Corvinus Business School had the opportunity to test among the very first business schools in 2013. Besides Corvinus University of St. Gallen and Instituto Internacional San Telmo business school in Seville were invited to pilot the system: measuring their impacts on the economy and society around them on the one hand, and provide feedback about the emerging tool on the other. EFMD published its report on Corvinus at that time with the title of „Responsibility of the National Champion”, and this project proved to be an important step in the current international accrediation processes of the Corvinus Business School.

Following these tests BSIS was officially launched in 2014, and since then another 17 business schools identified their impacts according to the system.

This spring Corvinus Business School was invited to provide a progress report and to contribute to the further development of BSIS. A workshop on upcoming steps was held with the participation of 11 business schools including Corvinus during the Annual Conference of EFMD in Rome this June.

Business schools with meaningful progress reports were honoured with the newly established BSIS Label (see picture) during the Awarding Ceremony of the Annual Conference.
